Seasons Greetings

The season's greetings to all our customers. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a very Happy New Year.

We are open today Sunday 28th of December and Wednesday the 31st, New Years Eve. We will reopen again on Friday, 2 January when we will return to a normal opening times.

It's a lovely day today outside even if it is a little chilly, a great day for a walk round the words and then back to the farm shop for a hot drink with a cake or mince pie or if you're still hungry after the Christmas feast, a bacon roll or a breakfast bap.

Christmas Order Day

Christmas at ‘Wysipig’, lots of great things on offer at todays ‘open day’, Saturday 13^th December from 10am to 4pm. Customers are welcome to join us and get into the Christmas spirit. Visitors will be able to try samples and discuss Christmas orders for turkeys, gammons, sausages and beef from the great range of meat and other products now available. The farm shop is packed with Christmas goodies and customers can place their orders to be collected or take advantage of the free delivery service. For Christmas the farm has a great gift shop in the barn, come along and have a browse, there is a wide range of suitable presents for all the family as well as lots of other interesting bits and pieces.

As usual there will be ‘Wysipig Breakfast Baps’,  Christmas special-Turkey with Sage & Onion and Cranberry Sauce rolls for lunch as well as teas, cakes and of course mince pies and cream!  The team will be on hand to help with advice on ordering and cooking tips, they look forward to meeting you.

The shop is open daily until Christmas and orders can also be made by telephone.

The all-important Christmas checklist

Buying all the ingredients for a traditional Christmas dinner and making sure you have enough without lots going to waste is a bit of an art form. We have made a list of all the Christmas food items that we have on offer, we hope this list may be helpful when planning your special festive meal.

If you would like us to help you through your shopping list the team at Wysipig will be only too pleased to help, we can advise you on how much you will need to feed all the family, cooking tips and just about anything to help the big day go with a swing. If there is anything in particular you would like us to get in for you don't be afraid to ask!  You can communicate with us by telephone, email or come up to the farm shop and will receive a warm welcome, it is a bit of a trek up our long track but the journey is well worth it.

Shopping List

Turkeys  - Bronze and white, free range or barn reared, we can also do crowns.
Chicken  - Outdoor reared free range
Home Cured Gammons  - Green or smoked, on the bone or boned and rolled.
                                           Also cooked or uncooked.
Pork  -  All our famous cuts from traditional breed pigs
Sausages  -   Breakfasts sausages, chipolatas (for pigs in blankets!)  seasonal flavours, including
                      Kevin's and wonderful sage and onion with chestnut variety.
Bacon  - Back, streaky, green or smoked.
Beef  - 21 day matured, all cuts available.
Lamb
Vegetables -  Large selection of traditional essentials.
Bread  -   Freshly baked by 'Warings' for us, why not try the delicious mince pies.
Christmas Cakes  -  By our artisan cake maker
Chritmas Puddings
Homade Pickles  -  Pickles, pickled onions, preserves and of course cranberry sauce!
Eggs  -   Free range chicken and duck eggs.

Delivery & Collection -  We deliver within a 30 mile radius of our farm shop, including Windsor and Eton, Ascot, Guildford, Farnham, Alton, Basingstoke, Newbury, Reading and Wallingford. Delivery day 22nd of December, collection day 23rd of December ( other times by arrangement)

 Logs  - Don't forget we also  deliver logs for the fire by bag or load.

Autumn is here, we have enjoyed the most wonderful summer and an especially hot September. Now it's time to think about winter and of course Christmas which isn't far away!

The Wysipig monthly open day is this Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM why not pop along and see us and enjoy breakfast map or a hog roast roll for lunch. On offer will be a usual range of pork products and cakes and drinks

This month we will be announcing our Christmas taster days which start with the main one on November 8th when customers will be able to sample some of the goodies we have on offer for Christmas dinner, this will be a chance to 'try before you buy'.

 We look forward to welcoming all our friends and customers.

All those not off on holiday don’t worry this Saturday is Wysipig’s monthly open day.

All the great Wysipig pork and beef products will be on offer and the specials this month will be food for the barbeque, sausages, ribs and marinated pork steaks.

Come and enjoy Hog Roast rolls for lunch in the tea garden or cakes and teas which will also be served and the shop stocks a range of artisan non alcoholic drinks.The ‘Gift Shop In The Barn’ will also be open

Visitors can view the vintage tractors and meet some of the pigs and cattle.

Don’t forget we also do Hog Roasts for event catering.

If you aren’t going away this summer why not just come camping on the farm,it’s great fun for all the family.
